Could beer past its experation give a more intense hangover?

I was drinking busch light last night about 2 months over its experation date. It didnt taste quite like it should either. This morning I had a MUCH worse hangover than i should have. Lasted allll day, and I didnt drink anymore than a normal saterday night. Anyone know if older beer has more impurities or somthing?? thanks! jake
