Im planning on going to Thailand alone, any advice?

This will be in March. Does anyone have any good advice for me? I plan on taking about 2000 USD for my expenses, I also plan on being over there for two months. Im not interested in regular hotels, I dont mind living on the cheap side while im there. Id like to make it to ko phi phi..
