Parents dress kids "y"?

parents seem to be dressing little girls in "y" clothing now. mini skirts, tight slim jeans, and flimsy tops with more teenage designs rather than kids designs. Why do parents do this and should the clothes be discontinued? Girls could wear pink and purple and pastel colors and still look girly without taking it too far. Shouldn't the makers of these clothes know it is wrong to dress little kids this way? why do parents allow their kids to wear this?
