Cleaning boat hulls in the water - is it really a mans job?

here is another danger - a lot time in marinas there are electrical things that hang in the water - loose wires etc. these can cause injury I am told. It would be better if the boats were out at a mooring. The problem is cruisers dont care if their bottom is dirty most of the time and racers care a lot so they do it themselves.
