Given that every othe god that mankind has made up throughout history has been a myth, why think yours is not.?

Perhaps the fact that people have always turned to a higher power could be seen as evidence that such a thing exists. Our understanding of 'God' and our way of worship may have changed, but we still seem to have an innate belief. If you have no faith, fair enough, but please don't sneer at those who do.
