Is there a complaint I can file?

I am extremely upset. I went in to an interview and ended up being asked to come back for a working interview. He offered me the job and i informed the owner that i would have to give my two weeks notice and then would be able to start and he was thrilled that i would give my boss two weeks he said it was "good work ethics". I started and worked two days then he calls me one hour before i was scheduled to come in and tells me sorry I dont need you anymore! WTF? and this is by the way after i sat there in the interview and told him i need a dependable job! Is there anything i can do? This was not the proper way to tell me
