Painting a Wood Fence or rip it out?

see if there is a loophole to where you can stain the fence white. with colored oil based stain. hiring this done shouldn't cost more than $3 per running foot of fence. that is really good lumber. if you can't stain it, try to find another use for it and plant hedges.
